Kristin served as in-house employment law counsel to a Fortune 200 corporation for five years. In this role, she managed employment litigation and arbitration relating to harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour law. She also drafted executive compensation contracts, oversaw legal issues relating to managing electronic discovery and working with third-party contractors, and supervised the company’s restructuring and immigration programs. She learned the ropes of employment law and electronic discovery as an associate with McGuireWoods LLP, where her practice focused on defending Title VII matters in federal courts across the country. Her work also included handling covenants not to compete and matters before the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
